I guess I've gotten the wizard upset with me before. Not to the tune of 10 years with no crts, but I have had a card survive about 6 months with only the weekly crts everyone got.
On a different topic, I'm really starting to hate the new SD format. 1) It breaks up my paragraphs and leaves large spaces when I don't type it that way. 2) It adds things that I've deleted to my posts so if I don't check it right after I post it will send out stuff that I
don't want it to. This is really bad and it's happened multiple times.

I don't think that there's a wizard unless it's an AI program gone bonkers or a programmer that wants to get back at CVS. I do think that some cards have special powers and are different than other cards. You see it on here all of the time. One person will get all of these great crt's and you won't get anything. Both of you coupon and buy pretty much the same things so why is that? I think that it's a difference in the cards. I don't want to talk about magic other than to say it has nothing to do with crt's and it's not a glitch where your ecb's print twice or anything like that. Magic is over now so I'm sorry that I brought it up.

Edit: Wow, it did the space thing on the first paragraph.

Besides the SD deals, the other reason that I'm thinking about Amazon is because of Peter. I'm looking for Brach's jelly beans but I can't find them and Peter said that I should look on Amazon. This makes perfect sense but Amazon never entered my mind. Amazon is very interesting especially since couponing is such a pita these days. In the last 10 years, I've only bought one thing off of Amazon which was a clearance computer so I'm a total novice.
EEK!EEK!My fault!?! I've been buying puppy pads on Amazon and shipping them to Dad thanks to you.EEK!hug

Forget about trying to get a Coke. There's no way. If you're lucky - and I mean really, really lucky - you might get a ginger ale that's been sitting there for 5 years.
Is there an Infusion Suite in the same building? We could get anything we wanted there and, strangely, our nurse mentioned that Coke got restricted but we could still have it. If you are underweight/ low phosphate especially it might be worth the ask.

I had them the whole time. I haven't been getting much sleep due to my surgery and the meds I'm taking. I'm up every 15 minutes peeing the whole night. I don't think that I've had an hour of straight sleep in 2 weeks.
If this is not an exaggeration, it really is unhealthy. The last few month's of our Calla girls life she was up every 10-15 minutes. My husband and I slept separately so that one of us could stay with her and the other could sleep. Even with getting a good night every so often, after a couple of months it was clearly taking a toll on us both. If the acetaminophen hack above doesnt work, could you get something to put yourself to sleep and use a diaper? It just isnt sustainable to go long term without a good night's sleep.

but even here shoplifting is rampant.
In all of the times I've been to CVS, I've never seen anybody blatantly walk out the door with stuff. I'm sure that it happens but the crooks must be pretty slick although I don't know why they bother since there's no penalty for it and the cops won't even come. I often wonder if other customers think I'm stealing stuff when I'm getting everything ready before I go to the register. I did have one guy think I was an arsonist when I had 6 bottles of hair spray in my cart. I tried to explain to him that no, I'm a couponer but he thought that I was out there starting fires.

I'm wondering why anybody would steal Colgate Pro. It's not exactly a hot item like Fusion razors or Tide detergent.

I would say at least once a week I see someone go out the door with stuff they haven't bought or come into the store after they've had someone blatantly leave without paying, at both stores I frequent. They aren't even in a high crime area either.

Saturday I was at SCO and saw a girl walk out with a large over the shoulder bag that looked incredibly full. I was standing there trying to decide if she was shoplifting when she walked back in about two minutes later. Shoulder bag was on her shoulder, but now completely empty. I alerted the shift on duty and he walked around and did stuff right in the area where she was so he could watch her. Within about two minutes, she left with her bag empty.

The day before, I was at the other store I go to and the shift alerted me to a woman who had just tried to take the 'spider' off one of the very expensive toothbrushes. She had a bunch of stuff in a cart when he saw her trying. He told her he would remove that at the register when she was buying it. She tried to say she wanted to see if it was like one she had at home already. He is SUPER nice and non confrontational. She walked out after their interaction, leaving everything in the cart.

Are you saying that the first guy goes in and steals the stuff and then the second guy brings the stuff back into the store and does a return on it? That's brilliant...

Second time in a row that SD has me quoting a post that I didn't quote. There was the post that I was quoting and then another post that I wasn't quoting and then my reply to the first post. I had to go back and delete the second post.

No, that's not what I was saying, but yes, I am aware of them trying it at our stores.

How do they handle that? It seems like it could be a tricky situation for the store employee. The second person didn't steal the stuff so the store employee doesn't know for sure that it's stolen especially if it's things that they always sell. Imagine if he said no, I can't take it back and the guy's girlfriend actually did buy it for him. Or if he pulls out a gun and goes what did you say? You'd have to be a whole lot slicker than I am to handle the situation. I'd say dude, I don't care if you took it or not. I'll be happy to give you a refund and load your car up with more stolen items. Just shoot the other cashier instead of me.

I've calmed down from my shopping trip but I'm not happy with RA and CVS. Especially CVS. It cost me $15 in gas to have my transaction fail. I can deal with RA because it was my mistake that caused everything not to work but CVS totally screwed me.

I watched a sci-fi movie instead. Something about a bat that hates shaving cream.

We're talking about pets, right? I still have dreams about my childhood dog. I can't believe we do this to ourselves.

I told my husband I am trying not to bond with the cats we have now. I just say that they need a place to live. I don't think the not bonding is working very well.
