I'll say sorry up front for asking this as I should know/remember the answer, but can anyone confirm for me that a $4 off your entire purchase coupon that I received via email from CVS and printed will usually/can often still scan the day after the expiration day? I got one for the first time in several months and I noticed today it expires on Tuesday not Wednesday like these have always done in the past for me. Unfortunately, my hubby is not leaving for work travels until Wednesday this week as he wants to be home to see the trick or treaters and pass out candy on Tuesday. Thanks for any info/help. Have a good day everyone!

ETA: I did search for the answer to this and could not find it.

My experience is that CVS coupons have a 2 day grace period. The only exception that I know about are the % off coupons which don't have a grace period.

Thank you! Thank you so much! I should be able to remember this stuff but I just don't seem to be able to possibly since I really don't shop at CVS any more. I think I started getting coupons because with my current insurance I get better RX prices at a CVS pharmacy and we do have one of those in a Target in town.

Interestingly, I also got a % off coupon and that doesn't expire until Wednesday so that one should work just fine.

Awesome!! CVS was the most expensive for my co-pay so I switched over to Vons. Now I don't have a co-pay and I'm still with Vons because they are the most convenient and the pharmacist always says hi, knows my name, and asks how I'm doing. When I get a new prescription, she'll always come over and talk with me about it.

Yes, they have a 2 day grace period IF you print them out and DO NOT send to card!! I got one $4 today that expires next Sat 11/4 (11/6 in grace). I printed out.
Also, the ECB comes off First, THEN the % ones, so you really get less off, but better than nothing!

I'm not so sure about % ones having no grace period. Perhaps someone else can also chime in about that.

I can't get my brain into the digital mode. You're absolutely right, you have to print out the coupon. I should've said that. Sorry. CVS is always changing things so who knows on the % off's. I've never had one work past the exp date but it's been years since I've tried to do that.

So I got back into what I do best and bought toothpaste at CVS today since RA was closed due to a power outage. When I got back home and looked online I noticed that I got $5 ecb's for purchasing Loreal. That's interesting because all I got was toothpaste.

I'm very bummed right now. I kept one of those big bags of candy for myself. It had some Life Savers gummies that were large with a big hole in the center and had sprinkled sugar on them. I'm addicted. I got a bag of the regular Life Savers gummies thinking that they were the same thing but they're completely different. Very bland and not worth the calories. Any idea where I can get the Life Savers gummies like the ones in the big bag?
Thanks!

I always print them so my hubby can have at least somewhat of a clue of what he is dealing with, lol. If I sent them to the card and it didn't come off he'd have no clue what to do. At least with the printed q he can show the cashier what it is he wants to occur!

FYI: I did mention that I printed the q in my original post in my run-on sentence so no problem not mentioning it FP.

I have an appointment with my cardiologist tomorrow so if I'm not on here for a few days he put me back in the hospital. He's going to be very pissed off at me that's for sure. I wish that there was a way to get out of going but I can't.
Good Luck at your appointment tomorrow. Hopefully you get good news,

So I was looking for the free chips at Vons all weekend and I finally found them this morning - in the bakery section. I'm leaving in a few minutes for my doctor's appt. Gonna make a quick stop at RA on the way. It's super windy here.

This thread stinks with everybody dealing with medical problems of their own and with loved ones. Sorry to everybody.

Mom's house is close but a couple towns over. She has this big dog who she's kind of mean to but the dog is attached to her. It's a pre-owned dog. Anyway, I feel terrible leaving it at her house but husband says no because our cats would be miserable. Also my daughter is scared of the dog. So this poor dog and two feral cats are in her house. I have not seen the cats but they eat on a shelf area where the dog can't get to and they are using the cat box, so either one or both of them is/are okay. Mom has sort-of taught this poor dog to use peewee pads but it is clearly lonely. I am trying to re-teach it to go for walks, but sometimes it hides under the bed and I can't get it. I'm trying to take it out at least once a day, just so it won't feel so lonely. We walk around the block. I'm not a big dog person (I prefer medium, beagle-sized, but we don't have any, just cats at home), but this dog is interesting. It has a bum eye and looks mean as heck, but to my knowledge it will not bite. (Not part pit or anything.) Not crazy about men but my husband did go for a walk with us last night and dog was okay with me holding the leash walking in the back and the dog and the husband walked side by side. Oh, I was saying that even though she lives in a "nice" town, I'm not usually up for any risk, but I don't mind walking this dog at nighttime, because I can tell it scares people.

Part two is that my brother and sister are totally ignoring this. Sister lives in Seattle and is making very little money, no significant other that we know of, no kids, no roommate. Car hasn't worked in years. My mother subsidizes her life with a monthly check. I called sister Saturday (we don't really talk, just a birthday text hear and there). I was blunt and said if mom goes into a long-term place, we will have to sell the house and the money will quickly evaporate into her care. My sister said "there is nothing for me out there." I told her there is a nice navy blue Camry, but she didn't even think that was funny. My husband is appalled and doesn't think I should send her the check that my mother told me to send, but I'm sure I will.

Brother is doing well with job and wife in the NoVA area, but no kids. I am okay with him stepping back for a while because he has been involved with our difficult father's care in Las Vegas, but he's not even calling me. Neither sibling has talked to her (she doesn't have a working cell phone and the phone in her room isn't working right, but wouldn't normal people call the nurse's station to check on things or tell me to call them when I am visiting the place? My mom is difficult but did raise use is not actually abusive. This is weird, right?
