The Ninja's non-stick coating is PTFA-free and PFOA-free ceramic. I do generally prefer stainless steel since ceramic coatings can still scratch/chip if you're not careful, but at least this one doesn't have the usual PFAS concerns.
Exactly. No one needs more PFAS in their lives.

I love the idea of this device but pressure cookers get run through the wringer and stainless is way more appropriate for that use case.
I have this and use it weekly. FYI, even thou it's the 6.5 qt version, it's HUGE and takes up a lot of counter space. I've used the pressure cooker, air fryer, and sous vide functions which have all worked awesome so far. Since then, I've become a Ninja Foodi fan and purchased their flip up oven and hand mixer.

If you don't mind scratch and dent, it's $15 less at woot

Personally I'd much rather buy through Costco just for the sake of their Refund policy

I bought one of these a year and a half ago, it recently died on me. It seemed to think the lid was always in the open position so it would not air fry or pressure cook. Warranty was up so they were no help. Having said that I purchased this same one from Costco about a month ago (was on sale for $100 at the time) because it works so well. I use it almost every day. I figure since I purchased from Costco this time I should be able to return if I have any issues with it. A comparable Instant Pot I was considering was about $180 at the time so dropping $100 for it seemed like a deal. At $80 its a great deal
If you purchased this with a credit card, you might be able to file an extended warranty claim. I've done it with headphones and my cell phone. Seamless refund.

I got the 8qt on sale at Target, we use it almost daily and it's doing well.

Thanks, appreciate the advice. I looked into extended warranty protection on the card that I used and they want an estimate/invoice for repairs as one of the documents I have to upload before they even start the claims process. Not even sure where I would go to get a repair estimate for a Ninja Foodi lol

The specific card is a Capital One Savor Mastercard. The benefits are handled through Mastercard (https://www.mycardbenefits.com) so this specific policy may apply to other Mastercards?

I've had another related issue with this card, Ive since stopped using it

My family has been ditching their Instapot for this one. I can't hear more good things about Ninja Foodie. I might snag one too

This is the best thing on the market for making cannabis oil and cannabutter for cooking. No smell. Also makes a very nice and easy pot roast. (Not trying to make a pun there.) Very tender and juicy beef. I bought it about a year ago and I use it all the time.
What's the receipe for cannabis oil and cannabutter

Basmati rice, rinse and flavor etc
Pressure cook 4mins or 6 mins if using pot in pot.
Done and dusted

I have had both. The instant pot was very slow to get up to pressure than the Ninja, when I had both set to pressure cook at the same time. For that reason alone, I sold the instant pot.

Received this last week and used it to cook chicken wings, a whole chicken, chuck roast, and a chocolate cake.

Easy use and the food was cooked accordingly.

On the down side, a 4.7 chicken didn't fully fit (had to compress the chicken so that the top of the bird didn't touch the heat elements, not a horrible thing), it is fairly loud, and produces a lotta aroma (I had to place it under the exhaust hood/vent).

Overall, I am happy with it.

Dang, not sure how I glossed over this. Needing to replace our air fryer and this probably would have been a great option...
