I think they've always called themselves Nomatic, but their original wallet [kickstarter.com] was called the BASICS Wallet.

Maybe OT: I use cards/phonepay for literally 99% of everyday spending, but I'm from a generation that would feel naked without a "real" wallet and some walking-around cash. In a tight spot, nothing's really going to replace good ol' cabbage.

I always buy wallets with a zipper pocket for change, but they're getting hard to come by. They almost all have velcro, which is just kind of annoying. Any change I put in my pocket inevitably falls out if I lay on the sofa, and it makes it difficult to find anything else in my pockets.

Been using mine for as long as I can remember... maybe 6 years + ? No idea what people are saying about "damaging credit card corners"... My cards are all fine. Going to buy another since my elastic is starting to give.

Not being snarky: why are you walking around your house with change? I usually put away anything in my pockets (wallet, keys, etc.) when I come in the door.

Love minimalist wallets and have used several different types, but found ones like this would only last me about a year before they started to fray or loosen up and cards would sometimes pop out. I typically buy one that I attach to my keys, so they get tossed around quite frequently. Spent a little extra and bought one of these https://www.amazon.com/Trayvax-Or...th=1&psc=1 which should last a lifetime since the only thing that could wear out is paracord, which is easily replaceable.

Been my go-to wallet for years. Whenever there is a sale I just purchase a backup or two and swap them out when the band wears out. Perfect minimalist wallet.
