Don't be silly, you do that with the blower. You'll just have to remember to put the tube in the water at the spot you want before ice starts forming.

I grabbed one a few weeks back. It's pretty good. Very lightweight and lasts more than enough to do all of my lawn bed trimming. It still will get jammed or line out every now and then, but it literally takes about a min to re-string. I keep my gas trimmer for the lawn edge only

I may be wrong, but it looks like it can be plugged in to charge?

I bought this last time it was on sale at this price and yes it came with the charger for the battery. Also you can find cheap replacement spools with line for cheap on Amazon that fit perfectly.

Looks uncomfortable. I've had a few of these cordless weed eaters, have 4 now, converting tools, and mom has two, used a couple others. If money is important, this seems decent. If comfort is more important, I bought the straight shaft Ryobi 18V with the adjustable handle, the kind on most gas weed eaters, and I have a sling ($5 clearance) on it, because my mom is 67 and her boyfriend had arm surgery. That thing is a beast! I got it in a kit for $100 with a blower or something. I haven't used my 40V Ryobi, because the B&D with a button adjustable handle is decent for as little as I need at home.

If it doesn't have an adjustable handle, it's going to be awkward at times, because people are different heights. Some of them I lean over with, which puts stress on your back and arms. The Ryobi I can use one handed with the sling.

Get the multi pack of spools so hopefully you'll have at least one ready before you have to swap them out. I usually get a summer or more out of one spool with a smaller yard.

By freak accident, about 6 weeks ago, my Walmart had the trimmer/blower combo for $75 on clearance. Bought it, sold my green works trimmer and Ryobi blower. I have a small yard and this 20v set is perfect. Trimmer is ok, not week, but not powerful. In line with 20v yard equipment. Greenworks trimmer spun counterclockwise, didn't like it. This one is clockwise, so to me, normal. I would buy the set again.

For lawn tools, always go with at least 40v. 20v for Power tools is fine, but not for lawn. Need more power!

Maybe. However as a person that owns one...I can attest 20v is enough for a little under a half acre of lawn edge trimming. If you need it for heavy weeds or dense brush then I'd go with a more powerful unit with thicker line.
