There's a $30 discount on the just-released Creality K1 3D printer right now with the code:
ZKK130U
That makes it $569 instead of $599 with free shipping.
Not a huge discount, but considering it's new, if you were planning to buy the printer anyway, paying a little less is certainly not bad. Two spools of the Hyper PLA filament are also included with the K1.
The K1 is a fully enclosed coreXY 3D printer with resonance compensation, which allows for a fast movement speed.
Almost as important as the fast movement of the printer is the good cooling performance and flow rate of the hotend. Since the K1 has a maximum flow rate of 32mmĀ³/s, it can be a bit faster than the BambuLab printers most of the time.
K1 specs:
- Build Volume: 220*220*250mm
- 600mm/s Max Speed
- 20000mm/sĀ² Acceleration
- 32mmĀ³/s Max Flow Hotend
- Hands-free Auto Leveling
- Self-test with One Tap
- Solve Ringing with G-sensor
- Unibody Die-cast Frame
- Auxiliary Cooling Fan in Chamber
- Nozzle Temperature: ā¤300Ā°C
- Heatbed Temperature: ā¤100Ā°C
- Supported Filaments: ABS, PLA, PETG, PET, TPU, PA, ABS, ASA, PC, PLA-CF, PA-CF, PET-CF

If you're looking for a resin 3D printer instead, the offer for Creality's new Halot Mage also has a little perk. The printer is not cheaper, but you get a resin of your choice for free with the code:
ZKMAGE1F
The code works as soon as you put a resin as well as the Halot Mage in your shopping cart. You can save the most if you choose an expensive resin like the Fast Resin which costs $34.99.
Halot Mage specs:
- 10.3" LCD & Large Print Size
- Ultra 8K High Precision
- Create an Envy of DIY Collection
- Orange "MageArch" Flip Lid
- Air Purification for Pleasant Resin Printing
- Self-developed HALOT BOX: 4-stage workflow and rich presets
- CHITUBOX: 3-month VIP for Free

The same with Kingroon KLP1, according to the review the wifi disconnect too often, but it is only $379 if you really want a CoreXY just to mess around with.
As others had mentioned if you really need a polished CoreXY right out of the box then get a Bambu Lab P1P because it is truly a plug-and-print machine.
By all mean you can fine-tune the K1 or KLP1 or any 3D print machine, but it takes time and is a hassle sometimes.
The main issue that he found with the K1 is their absolutely awful optional phone app and the optional plastic cable cover that can get in the way during printing. He also lied about always having to use the Creality's cloud slicer. It's the Bambu Labs that forces you to use their slicer, not the Creality.
He chose not to mention that the P1P is a closed source printer that you can't use without Wi-Fi, which is absurd imo. Also no mention of the Creality Pad that you can connect several printers to (not just Creality brand) and have a legit Klipper-run printer network.
As far as I'm concerned this comparison was one the most biased and overall pathetic attempts so far.

I was one of the first batch of orders and got my K1 June 2nd, as soon as I got it and plugged it up the problems started. On the unit I received I couldn't get a single print to complete so I started digging into the printer and I found that my extruder wasn't working properly, the nozzle on the printer was crooked, and my right lead screw that moves the bed up and down was loose and would shift up and down when it's supposed to be solid. Also not to mention but when I get the printer and tried to register it on their app it said it was already registered on someone else's account.
Their support is pretty bad I emailed them regarding the issues and I went a whole week without hearing back and when they replied to the email it seemed like they didn't even read all the troubleshooting I did and gave what is the equality of "turn if off and on".
I currently have a return label for the printer and I'm shipping it out today.
I know Crealitiys quality control is bad but I expected as someone to experience with their devices that I could manage them myself but there is no fixing factory defects. I know everyone's experience will diff when it comes to support but I would say stay away from it right now till there are more reviews out and the issues get fully addressed.

As a counter point, I also pre-ordered my K1 mid April and I received mine around May 20th. I haven't had any issues with my K1. I might have won the lottery when I got my K1, I just yesterday did the K3D exploit to allow ssh access to my K1 and I enabled Fluidd to use for the web GUI interface, I can still use the stock GUI and the display on the K1 still works but If you start a job from the Fluidd GUI you can't monitor the print from the stock GUI. It is possible to use Cura (probably other slicers too, I haven't tried yet) to slice files but there are no official printer profiles and you'll have to do some tweaking to come up with one that will work well for you. My current in process profile has me running the flow rate at 150% and even then I tend to have under extrusion issues. For now I would recommend using Creality print but unless you really want to use the Creality cloud I would skip that part of setup and just control your printer on your local LAN.

Works fine if I use Creality Print to slice my files. I already partially removed the Bowden tube but it was working fine before that. I just didn't like how it was bumping the chain against the top edge of the printer.

Calling someone a shill for calling out an actual shill is a bit over the top. I regretfully misspoke in a quick forum post vs intentionally misrepresented a product in a video comparison. I also didn't tell anyone to buy a Creality printer. If anything I would recommend not buying their rushed-to-market product for the first 6 months, so you won't bear the brunt of the worst bugs which are guaranteed to be there.

No one who actually wants to use a 3d printer for printing (and not tinkering) should get a creality. The P1P is light years ahead in quality and speed than my ender 3, ender5, and the new S1. Light years.
