Correct.

For clarity's sake, there is a Delta 2 Extra Battery model they sell that's 1024 Wh (LFP, just like the D2 itself). One of the images in this listing for options shows both the D2 and Max extra batteries. But... they're pricy enough that you might as well just buy two of the main D2 units. That way, if one unit fails, you have a backup.

I've had a D2 unit for.. I guess a good 6+ months now. I've used it a few times and it's served me well for several power outages (considering capacity limitations for its size/weight). It's done well with solar charging too, having received a decent number of charges off of a large 455W solar panel, in addition to a few off EF's 160W folding panel that mine came with.

Very cool, albeit pricy "'Toy' but not a toy" that can save your bacon in a pinch. In the winter, this thing should be able to power most central air blowers for gas furnaces to keep you from freezing.. and supplement with a small generator when needed (transfer switch/seek electrician). You can set charging rates from 200-1200W to "play well" when charging off a smaller generator.

It looks like this package will qualify for an energy storage rebate as it's >3kw; so an extra 434 off. Anyone have experience/details on that front?

Nope, Delta Max EB is NMC with 800 cycles to 80%. I plan to use delta 2 to run the Wave 2 AC. the Max EB will only be used occasionally when I need to run the AC overnight.

They call it a "generator" but they are both batteries.

Check what is the package weight. Home depot ships the two batteries from two different states for me. The Delta 2 battery from Texas 30lbs delivered today. The Extra max battery is coming from California 46lbs delivering tomorrow.
I went to Homedepot to pick up the combo today. But they only have the D2, not the EB. Have to issue a return.

I had the same exact issue, Home Depot sent 1 tracking number & Ecoflow sent the other, both delivered a day apart from each other, 2 different boxes, they just do a poor job of providing tracking numbers, both should come from home depot

Hi,
On my Homedepot account, I only see one tracking number for 1 box. The weight matches the Delta 2 Generator. I don't see any other tracking number for the extra battery.
Were you able to see the second tracking number on your Homedepot account, or on your email??

For me. Home Depot order tracking show the Delta Max extra battery. It had no info on the Delta2. The delta2 came a day before my Extra battery.

My package also shipped as two packages. The first package delivered to the store today and the second package randomly chosen to be in transit to a different state a couple of thousand miles away, even though both packages were shipped at the same time from the same location. Not sure what's going on with FedEx.

After fed rebate, this basically comes to the same price as Delta 2+EB deal but with 3kWh. The only downside is that the Max battery isn't LFP. I think to figure out which deal is best for you is to ask if you will use more than the Delta 2 Capacity often (camping, RV, etc). Then the other deal with LFP batteries in both might be better for longevity. However, if you are buying as a home backup solution for when power goes out - this deal is likely better because of higher capacity.

Looks like you can plug a Delta 2 into a L14-30 twist-lock connection inlet, if you have one

A simple power outage solution to power your essential home appliances with 1800W AC output by directly connecting the DELTA 2 with your home's power inlet box* with a generator cord for partial home backup. With a plug-and-play design, it's easier than ever to prepare for blackouts. *including transfer switch which has a male L14-30 twist-lock connection that can accept a L14-30 extension cord.
So you could get a transfer switch that have select circuits from your house (fridge, lights, etc) and not your entire house. This is what they have on their site:

Are you sure? I don't see a 14-30 port on the Delta 2. I thought only the pro has a Nema 14-30.
