Cheapest Way to Purchase New iPhones (with or without service)

377 396 June 15, 2023 at 11:48 AM
I have read through so many threads with iPhones. What is the cheapest overall way to buy an iPhone, and have unlimited service?

Currently have grandfathered tmobile One Plus 55+ plans, each line is $30/mo unlimited incl tax.
Currently pay full retail price for iPhones every 5 years or so

Is there a cheaper way to do this?

If you have Comcast, Xfinity mobile $45 a month and they usually do deals on iPhone pretty regularly

We have the same plan - but keep watching for Tmobile promos - usually just before a new model comes in from iPhone Tmobile will have great promos to get rid of the model before - we did a trade in last year for the iPhone 13 Pro MAX with a IPhone 11 some one gave us and ended up getting the 13 for $350 after trade in..

I'm trying to figure the same as well. My current iP7 Plus crapped out last week. I was hoping to get the IP15 in the fall but thats a no go now.

As others mentioned, Xfinity mobile or Cox mobile appears to be a good deal for an outright purchase (if you have cable/internet connections with these two, check out their mobile offer). For device financing purchases, Costco with TMo or Verizon or AT&T appears pretty good depending on where you are coming from and if you are willing to embrace a new carrier. Direct TMo or AT&T or Verizon appears good as well (as long as you are ok with the monthly credit) but I'm not inclined to lock myself to a carrier for monthly credit. There are similar deals out there for older versions of iPhones as well.
