They are fine. I have seen uglier. Plus you are using these to hold food and snacks. It is not like you are posing a family portrait with these in your hands. laugh out loud

Very very ugly. That's why it is on sale.
You guys seem to know all the reasons why things are on sale or clearance.

I make meal prep meals and bought these as they' looked good in store and are great for appropriately sized meals.

It's being sold on Amazon for $22.75
Which means it's overpriced by $20 there.

They're not cookware, you could just reheat something in them.

I bought these in store a few months back at $12.97 and like them. They may be too small and shallow for the purpose of making salads but as serving plates they are more than adequate. I don't find them ugly, either but I am old. The quality is great, although they are not lightweight and shatterproof as corelle bone china plates. But on the other hand, they don't get hot with hot food/soup inside and therefore are easier to hold/transfer.
The bowls do suck all the heat from hot food / soup so we have to pre-warm them in the oven so food isn't cold from the time it takes to serve and walk to the table.

We do like them as well as basically small plates with a large lip. Easy to put a sandwich, a few chips or fruit, and carry out somewhere.

We have these and like them. They are great for pasta and anything served over rice like curry or Chinese food.

The bowl makes your food cold? Some of these comments are hilarious.
