Come in first place? WOW THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!
Come in last place? WOW SIMPLY AMAZING RACE!
what happened to just sucking, replaying a race 100 times until you get good?
For that, I would say this isn't a true racing video game experience, and more like a walking/driving simulator of what it is like to drive a car all over a large map. There are races, sure- but no consequence. Nothing to look forward to, no end game boss car, they literally give you a Lambo or Ferrari super car within the first 30 minutes of completing the tutorial.

I LOVED the original Forza Horizon, but I couldn't make it through all the characters it shoves in your face, the constant talking in the voice comms from the NPCs, the music, or just about anything that didn't have to do with the driving in Forza Horizon 5.
I just want to drive without anyone saying a single thing to me in my ears, and this game fails miserably at it.
Maybe I'll try turning off all voice and music audio and use my personal Spotify playlists and give it another go. It helped immensely with Need for Speed Unbound!

it's such a chill out game that i even considered getting a wheel for it and building a sim of some sort.

Need for Speed and Burnout Paradise, I think, are the only open world racing games on switch.

¿PORQUE SEÑOR? Did you know the game was set in MEHEEKO? If you didn't we will tell you 500 times in unskippable cutscenes and required irrelevant side missions full of mas cultura. Welcome to the fiesta. Andele!!! FH2 was excellent. FH3 was flawless. FH4 was a blast. FH5 is hard to get through, though the driving is still lots of fun. But the campaign is a beating.
