That's a really spicy take. Intel 12th/13th gen is actually really good for Plex HW transcode, OpenVINO AI acceleration for NVR boxes, etc. Intel HWP-assisted thermal budgets also tend to be more stable and performant in thermally constrained systems compared to Ryzen APUs in these enclosures that have inadequate cooling. Plus, the unfortunate AMD+MediaTek partnership has meant that most Ryzen mobiles get the horrible RZ616 chipset that is full of problems compared to Intel AX211/411. Sure this thing is no good for gaming compared to Ryzen but there are plenty of use cases where this Intel is a better choice.

I just bought 4 Dells that I really did not need, so can't really justify yet another computer. At least not and stay married, but I would much prefer this over the Dells.

For 3D gaming, the AMD iGPU is better than Intel, but this really isn't a gaming machine. Even so, it has TB4 so you could use an eGPU with it.
