Another melanio deal from cigar page. Enjoy
Taken from their website:
V and V Melanio blends are the Oliva family's crown jewels. Ratings of 96, 94 and No. 1 Cigar of the Year honors tell the tale. If you've had the pleasure of burning through these fine Nicaraguans then you know Serie V walks the walk and exceeds the hype. Blends that satisfy Joe Six-Pack and Johnny Chardonnay alike, day in and out. Killer blends at reasonable prices all day and killer deals at da Page....up to 51% off boxes while they last.
Serie V Melanio: Boasting a remarkable 96 point rating from CA magazine it's no secret why this won the nod for #1 Cigar of the Year in 2014. This cigar offers an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, my personal favorite, overtop a healthy dose of Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. End result is a full-bodied, full-flavored experience with a plethora of spicy characters and a toasty finish.
Serie V: It's no surprise why this beauty received its 94 point rating. From first light to nub this is one of the tastiest cigars around. Fresh out of the box you'll notice the beautiful Ecuadorian Habano wrapper drapped over top of a well-aged blend of Nicaraguan ligero long fillers. This offers up a full-bodied blend while still remaining incredibly balanced.

I was able to get some boxes off-&-on a couple years ago of small(er) format Habanos from Europe (namely coronas, robustos), along with singles from trips to Mexico (but $$$ due to their domestic/tobacco taxes), which have served me well. But I can't see myself now paying $25-$100 on the norm for a Cuban cigar.
Post-pandemic, there's been a slight uptick on non-Cuban cigars - lots of variety and supply, yet higher prices relative to past...
