It must be a sad life to be that concerned about what others think of you…
I'd be much more concerned with accuracy than what Jimbo thinks of my tools. Anything other than lugs and some suspension stuff, I would look elsewhere… saving the money ain't worth mis-torquing your heads 😉

I have the 1/2" 10-150. It covers everything I need to torque, but I haven't used it in anything under 50 ft-lbs. If you need anything bigger than engine fasteners and lug nuts, you might want to go with the 25-250 model.
Comparing it to my coworker's Matco, it seems to be within about ±5% accuracy.

I seem to need these every once in a while for various projects. Any recommendations on which one to pick up?

Lug nuts are usually 90ft/lbs.

Some suspension parts are up to 250ft/lbs

Oil/trans pans can be down in the low in/lbs.

+1 10-150 will be good for most things like oil drain bolt, brake calipers, spark plugs, oil pan…up to wheel lug nuts.

I've been looking for a torque wrench for the lug nuts on my wheels after rotating them myself. Will the 1/2-Inch Drive Click 10~150 Ft-Lb be good enough to make sure my car tires are secure? I'm not working on a space craft.

It's either this or Harbor freight.

Anyone got a recommendation on a good 1/2 driver set? I just picked up my first torque wrench and realize that all my other drivers don't fit.

I keep one of these in the car for flats. Probably not super accurate but I'd trust a cheap torque wrench over "seems tight enough" to keep the spare tire on

I have one. While it wasn't calibrated at a NIST lab under the supervision of NASA physicists, it works well for me.

Haven't used a torque wrench before, but got the 1/4 inch torque wrench (that goes from 20 to 200 in-lb). It doesn't make an audible click noise when the set torque is met. Why? I set it at the lowest torque (20 in-lb) and tried it on a couple bolts and I know for a fact I was exerting more than the necessary torque as the length is probably about a foot long, and I know for a fact I was applying more than 1.5 - 2 pounds of force.
