Definitely. Bought this on the last $60 sale they had and love it. I can fit 10 12oz cans and some ice in it.

I own 2 ozark trail coolers and they're amazing… just saying. Pelican is great but ozark is well worth the price

I bought this last sale. It's a great size to take golfing. I throw it in the back of the cart. Keeps things ice cold.

I bought one and the rubber seal is an inch short. Ice stays good for 12 hours and not 3 days.

My guess is performance wise they're going to be similar enough. Even though price wise they're similar, you need to think about your use case. IMO, the 26qt is too big and heavy (15lbs empty) to lug with just 1 top handle, unless all you're doing is moving it from your car trunk to a cart. This 14qt is more manageable 1 handed (8lbs empty) both in size and weight.

IMHO, the OT is a very good value. Both this and the Pelican are good choices depending on your needs.

Coolers are more efficient the closer they are to full.
Acquire with an eye to maximum usage of the available space.

Same, and I like it. Mine did a pretty good job on test run about 1/3rd full of ice, after ~36h it still had a pretty solid chunk of that ice left at about 70f ambient (obviously not a "direct sunlight on a hot summer day" stress test).

Tons of factors determine "ice longevity":
  • ambient temperature
  • sun exposure
  • temp of ice going in
  • temperature of everything else you put in
  • how much you put in...
If you stick 'warm' food/drinks in it with some ice, it's probably not going to last as long as their optimal figure.
