Poor J.Crew

Your buttons will split in half, items will shrink massively on gentle dry (even air dry, actually), and holes will appear after a few washes. Bummer, used to love this brand. Still keep an eye out for the "collaborations" they do with other brands where they need to uphold standards a little higher. The suiting is still good if you're willing to pay for it, IMO

Agreed, overall quality has gone downhill over time although occasionally some pieces are still good quality. I think the hardest part is that even if you find something you like that is well made, if you try to buy the same item in a different color or different season, the quality can be vastly different. The inconsistencies are frustrating.

When I try to purchase and check out, the URL goes to https://www.jcrew.com/checkout/ca...winventory and locks up. Cannot finish.

These are J.Crew proper, sadly. I like the fit of many of their shirts

For the price of a T-shirt, even if the quality has gone down it's worth it as long as it fits well. I ordered both colors and will try on in store before picking up. Thanks OP!!

I agree, I loved JCrew, but I started to notice quality taking a hit right before the pandemic and after the pandemic they just haven't been great. It's a shame, now I'm left trying to figure out what brands to move on to.

Maybe I'll give their Madewell brand a shot.

The all sales final is concerning.

Spot on. Didn't realize the CEO's solution to a failing business was to go downmarket. My Target polos and shirts are many quality steps nicer.
