Poor J.Crew

Your buttons will split in half, items will shrink massively on gentle dry (even air dry, actually), and holes will appear after a few washes. Bummer, used to love this brand. Still keep an eye out for the "collaborations" they do with other brands where they need to uphold standards a little higher. The suiting is still good if you're willing to pay for it, IMO

Agreed, overall quality has gone downhill over time although occasionally some pieces are still good quality. I think the hardest part is that even if you find something you like that is well made, if you try to buy the same item in a different color or different season, the quality can be vastly different. The inconsistencies are frustrating.

I have wasted hundreds of dollars shopping at J Crew. As others have mentioned, clothes will shrink massively to an extent i can't wear after one use. Such cheap quality, i would rather go and buy at a walmart than J Crew.

What's some Brands that have recommended polo shirts under $20? I'm going to search at Target, Gap/Old Navy, Amazon. If anyone have any other stores would be much appreciated.

Was a big fan of J crew but not anymore. Their t shirts shrinks after first wash. Their cut is so awkward that for size M, their length is too short although the sleeves are long. Big disappointment with J Crew products so not buying from them even though they are on sale

The last 5 garments I purchased literally fell apart in less than a season, everything is terrible buttons zippers clasps fabric stitching, this is a throw away brand now, this place makes Old Navy look like Duluth quality

i like walmart's george branded polo's. $10 or less each, 100% cotton. but they also shrink some after first wash. and the collars curl, so you have to iron them after washing.
