Slick price for sure. Bosch is homeowner quality plus. Milwaukee Tools has their M12 set for $99 many places right now. I think most would say the Milwaukee tools are better, although wirecutter likes the Bosch

Very solid set. I have both this set and the Milwaukee m12. Batteries work similarly by sliding in the handle but are not interchangeable between the brands. The grip is very fat because of the battery style. If you have small hands like me it makes the grip kinda awkward compared to say the dewalt 12v line.
The Milwaukee tools seem to have more power but the Bosch has handled pretty much everything I've thrown at them.

The Bosch 5 in 1 tool is on a ridiculous sale at Amazon right now also if you are getting into the battery platform. Overall a solid set and hard to beat at this price. I'd recommend them.

In general, I would say the M12 tools are better, however the $99 M12 set is quite old and clunky in comparison. It's really in need of a modern redesign. The M12 Fuel sets are awesome, but significantly more costly.

If these were the only two 12 volt tools I was interested in, the Bosch is what I'd choose. But the variety of tools available in M12 is amazing in comparison.

Just commenting to mention that I jumped on a similar deal for this set a couple of years ago and it was one of the best tool purchases I've ever made. Highly recommend!

Appreciate the comparison.

If you buy the 5 in 1, is this really needed (I have other (20v) power tools)?

If I didn't already have the M12 fuel, I would bite on this one. I have the Makita LXT brushless lineup but I realized I used the M12 more for its compact size. This is about the same size as the M12
