I hacked the M12 Surge + 2 x 2.0ah batteries + charger + bag for $124.19. And canceled the free 3rd battery online.

One reviewer had better performance with the M12 Surge than the M18 Surge. Next on my wish list is the M18 Fuel (non-Surge)!

That guy must have had an issue w his m18 surge. I have both and I can definitely, without a doubt, say the m18 surge is more powerful. The m12 surge is slower but it's lighter and get fit into smaller spots. That said, if I had to pick one, I would do the m18 surge.

Thanks for that insight. I was on the fence about the M12 vs M18. I just got the M18. I'm sure it's extra size and weight are worth it.

The head on the m18 surge is significantly shorter than the m12. It's bigger in diameter however.

Doesn't work, i picked up the gun, and tried to cancel the batteries and they told me to cancel the batteries i need to return the gun since is a promotion.

YMMV on the store and how you accomplish the hack.....Can either choose different stores and pick up the item you need , or both at the same store and return the item. I have success with both
