according to the reviews, the cars are awful (cheap, mostly plastic, hollow, etc.). For this price, the carrier plus cars seems to be a decent deal, though.

Someone gifted our toddler this set, and the hinge on the truck broke after a couple of days of play and the plastic cars are his least favorite compared to actual Hot Wheels.

Someone gifted our toddler this set, and the hinge on the truck broke after a couple of days of play and the plastic cars are his least favorite compared to actual Hot Wheels.

According to Amazon, the "typical price" over the last 90 days is 8.78. It's showing up as $7.08 for me, but still not slick.

Down to $7.02 for me, which tends to suggest Amazon clearing out inventory. To your point regarding how "slick" this deal is, my standard remains the 50 packs of Hot Wheels around $20;and despite the many problems with those bulk sets (basic selection with occasional repeats) they still seem to make a better gift than knock offs like in this kind of sweet if the price difference can be overcome.

Horrible product, my uncle gifted it to my kids a couple years ago... Cars are basically useless and the truck fell apart in a couple uses. Steer clear, waste of money on this junk
