The 13500 was on sale for $209 earlier last week on Amazon. Comes with 14 total cores over the 10 in this one. I would say that for $10 more, the 13500 is the far better deal. However, that deal is gone.

Indeed. For just $10 more the 13500 seems a lot more capable. I own one and I'm quite happy with its performance.

I also have a 13500 and love it. The $10 is well worth it over this when it goes on sale. Slightly better integrated graphics as well. Great chips for office computers/productivity machines.

Another good point! Didn't even know that the 13400 came with downgraded graphics. I'm actually going to be using my 13500 for Unraid. Going to be absolute overkill, but go big or go home.
