For those about to comment on how disgusting this stuff is with it's anti-caking sawdust, hear me out:

Get this stuff for one reason..the best Alfredo ever. When you make your roux you mix half flour and half of the crappy parmesan, slowly whisking both in. It toasts the parmesan and adds an amazing flavor, and it's a hit every time.

If you tell my mother I shared this you'll be sleeping with the fishes, or maybe I will.

People love to hate on this stuff but I actually prefer it to real cheese on pasta. Trash tastebuds unite!

I believe she's pointing out the aggressive defense of the product, despite nobody attacking it.

No one said it, so you said it yourself, just so could share your (incorrect) opinion with the world. Sweet.
How am I incorrect? And like I said, I'm waiting for the comment like the previous posts.

I'm waiting for the comments from people claiming the block version is so much better and real, when it really is the same processed crap in the shakey can. It has to have "Parmigiano Reggiano" stamped on it for it to be real (in the US), and that stuff is $1000/wheel.
The only grated cheese I will use is Locatelli brand. I'll pay the ten bucks for the container. I will not skimp on my grated cheese, but to each his own. This is a good deal if you use this kind.

If you can't tell the difference between the canned shakey cheese and actual Parmigiana Reggiano, then more power to you. But there are objectively not the same.

You get to choose how you spend your time. If you wanna hang out in this thread waiting, lurking, for someone to make a comment so you can argue it, again - more power to you.

Oh yes. I love Locatelli. The only problem is, since the pandemic, it's harder to find at my local grocery stores. I havent seen the grated tubs at Walmart or Costco in years. Luckily Kansas City has a lot of Italian markets (and some Irish) that carries all the tasty options.

I really dont know where you're going with this. I never said there's not a difference. I said the complete opposite.

How come I don't see this deal unless I log out on Amazon then I see it and the coupon as soon as I log in I can't see an option to buy it?

Anyone remember Costco carrying a big jug of grated Parmesan Reggiano? Man that stuff was so good and then it just disappeared. Can't get anything better than this Kraft in a non-refrigerated form anymore.

Thats not a poor mans pasta carbonara if you add chicken. Sure, the bacon is a sub for the guanciale , but the chicken?? No sir!
