There are occasionally issues with unlocking.
Message 611611 with UNLOCK and you get automated response when device will be unlocked. Device needs to be activated first for 60-day counter.

The other 13 mini deal that's currently available is from Red Pocket for ~$430. But I don't feel like paying that price after the $200 deal. I'll wait for another carrier to offer a $200 iPhone 12/13 closer to iPhone 15 launch.
All phones under the Tracfone brand have the same unlock policy, and you can view the details here at the official website: https://www.tfwunlockpo

1) Call into Tracfone and ask to REBRAND this Straight Talk phone to Tracfone. Have to play the CSR roulette, but get a knowledgeable CSR and this Straight Talk phone will now become a regular Tracfone. This step is optional and is done mainly to remove any risk of not auto unlocking.
2) Activate this new phone on tracfone.com and choose to Keep Your Number. This will deactivate your current Tracfone phone and move your service to this new phone. Make some calls, get some usage in, and your new phone will auto unlock in 60 days.

Walmart iphones should all come with the appropriate sim card. WFM uses the Verizon network.
WFM unlock policy:
"For Customers with Apple devices: Walmart Family Mobile will automatically unlock the device when it becomes eligible for unlocking. For all Apple devices activated with Walmart Family Mobile prior to November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked after twelve (12) months of active Walmart Family Mobile Service. For Apple devices activated with new Walmart Family Mobile Service on the Walmart Family Mobile network on or after November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked sixty (60) days after activation in the absence of an indication of fraud."
There is however a possible way to bypass this by inserting a preferably unactivated prepaid at&t sim and then requesting same day unlock from at&t. Hopefully people will chime in if this works. Will save you $25 right there, making this a better deal than direct from Total Verizon.
