Another bonus. Ymmv. On their frontage they have a spread about at upcoming power bank. Within that page there is a sign up to get in line for the pre-order. Doing so netted me a $20 site gift certificate that is about to drive my fridge $20 lower
I bought the 30 quart version on pre order a few weeks ago for $210. It arrived a few days ago and everything is great so far. I've been able to run it off power stations and inverters with no problem, especially using the Eco mode which draws only 35 watts.
I set it to 0 degrees and watched the progress all the way down from 86, which is what it read when I plugged it in. The progress was slow initially but it got there in roughly 20 or 25 minutes.. Maybe less. The recommendation is High mode while car charging and either Low or Medium on other methods. I started on L then switched to M.
Once it reached 0 I opened the lid. It felt freezer cold so I tested with 4 boxes of frozen turkey burgers overnight. There was still plenty of room. I got the item because I want to be able to bring some of my own frozen food on trips, along with purchasing frozen when I'm on the road.
Once it reached 0 degrees the compressor went off. It would cycle back on again once the temperature climbed to 2 or 3 degrees. Once I saw it reach 4 degrees.
I really appreciate that the BougeRV has a memory function. I was switching between various inverters and power stations and never had to reprogram the BougeRV when I turned it back on again.
The only inverter that had a bit of stress was a Ryobi 18v topper. It went fine for a couple of hours but once the BougeRV started making a beeping noise every minute or two I got nervous and turned it off. But it might merely have been the BougeRV sensing that the Ryobi battery was getting low and dropping the voltage.

The BougeRV 12V 23-Quart Portable is great I have it and I take it to the beach all the time it works flawlessly and I definitely can fit everything I need in it. This is without a doubt one of the best things I've purchased in a long time and since we have hurricanes here in Florida having this for a backup is great.
I have the slightly smaller pro version of this fridge and would recommend bougerv simply because of the two year warranty on their compressors. A lot of the similar lower priced offerings by other companies are just 1 year, and that's always my biggest fear with fridges. Portable or not.
I really like the size on this one for more routine use - just measured and it's exactly the same size as the footwell storage we keep in the back of our Mazda CX-5 (my gf doesn't want our big dogs to fall down the hole when we brake 😅)
Can just leave it there full time and keep the after hike beers cold

That's really cool. I've been wanting one for a while but don't really need one right now. Do these things go on sale very often?

I don't know. I happened to see the 30% coupon on the website a few weeks ago. In fact, it's still there, now that I look at it. You have to go to the specific model and the coupon is there at the area where you add to the cart. You have to hit the Copy button and it's applied.
The one I got is the 12V 30 Quart (28L) Portable Fridge in tan color.
I have the 30 qt version and run it in the trunk of my small crossover and it's great. We sometimes have leftovers from a meal out or picked up small groceries that need to stay cold and it's nice to not have to hurry back home. The cool thing is due to insulation, it will stay cold even in a hot car for a while, especially if you have cars that will run accessories for a few more minutes upon locking (mine does 10min accessories power).

How are these for full time duty? I was going to put a mini-fridge in my master bedroom and if I get this maybe it would be good for both camping and as a mini-fridge. Would want to wear it out in the first 6 months though.

I wouldn't know. I've only had it for days. That is one of my primary questions also. I don't want to buy this toward trips and have it give out beforehand.
I use an Insignia 4.9 mini fridge in the master bedroom. It is very good but probably larger than I need. I got it on sale a year ago when a relative gave me Best Buy gift cards as present and I had to figure out what to do with them.

Just wish I would have bought the two smaller sizes as well as the 50l. The one I have has been excellent.
