I would be possibly interested to use as a monitor but looks like it's not great at that

I was able to score the 55 inch version [amazon.com] for $109.99 last year so I'm hopeful/optimistic I can get this deal as well; thx OP.

Regarding the 55 inch, the colors were terrible and all washed out. No matter what I did, I never could get the picture to be acceptable.

However, when I connected a Fire Stick 4K Max and tried to adjust the picture quality while the TV was in the HDMI input for it, picture quality improved extraordinarily. Once I adjusted the Black Level and White Level via the Screen Test app [amazon.com], I saw a big improvement.

I set the Fire Stick 4k Max Display settings to the following before adjusting the picture settings when using the Screen Test app [amazon.com]….

Color Depth = 12bits

Color Format = YCbCr

Dynamic Range Settings = Always HDR

I mention all this because at first the 55 inch version of this deal made an awful impression and I'm assuming that the 43" version will have the same issues.

IMO you can improve picture quality dramatically by not using the built in FireTV OS of these TVs and using a Fire TV 4k Max stick instead.

Y'know the 42" $130 tcl had really bad colors for my tastes, I wonder how worse this thing could be. Crazy pricing. Wish they'd make 32 inch 4k tvs.

Is this "by invitation" thing new?
I don't recall ever doing it before. Is it pretty slim odds?
Invites make you feel special so when you receive, you'll buy!

55 Inch omni fire TV lightning deal from last October for $112 kills this deal. Still worth it though. I would buy if I did not already have that one. Its probably worth twice this price.

I have absolutely no use for this size or quality of TV... But what times we are in to see 43" for $100 😂

My mom's TV just went bad. Hisense 43" that lasted only a year. Never going to buy another Hisense.

This deal is amazing but since it's an Amazon product, it doesn't allow casting from iPhones or Apple products. Big negative. I found I use casting quite a bit.
Description says:

You can also use Airplay to share videos, photos and music, and more from your compatible iPhone or iPad to your Fire TV Omni Series.

And I think I read it comes with AirPlay2

4k is mostly overkill on a 32" TV. I have a cheap 32" 1080p in my bedroom that's just fine.

Ugghh...I bought a scratch and dent version of this TV from BestBuy (without remote which, btw is virtually impossible to setup unless you can find a spare) but the return window will be closed by the time I ever find out if I get the invite. Figures.

I like the TV though, it was a "cheap" outside TV -- though I have to turn the volume up to 70 to hear it over the air conditioner when that's running =P

Depends what you're using it for. As a monitor it is too low IMO especially when there are bigger and better options around the same price point

Sounds like you want a monitor? If so get a 40" samsung 4K TV, its the best bang for the buck if you find a sale
