from what I've heard 90% of those miniPCs on the market are popped out of from the same factory somewhere in china, which means it's a hit or miss if those are actually good quality maybe except the most expensive brands. I bought one of those miniPCs from ace magician for my lab a year ago and it's still running well, but what it runs is just some laboratory softwares that don't require much computing power, so I'm not sure if it can actually sustain heavier loads.

What are some examples? I can only think of Beelink and it's not cheaper right now.

Not a great deal imo. I would spring the extra hundred and get a beelink from Amazon with ryzen 5500. Way more powerful, better integrated graphics card and overall better bang for the buck.
