Confirmed. I bought one to use as local storage for security camera. It failed within the 3 months period. Talk to amazon customer service and they allow me to return and get a refund

While that's very early for it to fail. Isn't it recommended to use the SanDisk Endurance cards for tons of writes for things like surveillance/security?

How do you contact Amazon. I have a 128GB of this same card that died, bought just under 1 year ago, but failed at least 6 months ago. I didn't even use it that much: It was just added storage in my cell phone, not active storage. I have a request in with Samsung, and will see how they respond.

Of course they won't take back a standard endurance card used for security cameras. They only warranty high endurance sd cards for camera use, not their general purpose cards.

Sounds like they did. My camera died in my phone though, with little use, not anything like security cam.

Seeing these deals every once in a while makes me think back to when I purchased my first flash drive in the early 2000s. I was so excited to pay $100 for a 128mb drive that you needed to pre install drivers via a cd to use first 😂

Bought 2 of these last year for my gopro. We travel a lot and take a lot of videos (mostly 2k60). I constantly format them after uploading. So far, zero issues.

So just bought another 2 of these as we have a 2-week trip coming up and these are half the price I bought them last year. Hope it performs the same.
