Thanks OP.
I got one for $3 because I saw an offer on my prime that said $5 credit for making Venmo your preferred payment choice.

Strangely, not in white, considering it is marketed for sun protection.

Edit: White is available but not mentioned here on SD

Darker colors are better for sun protection. The sun penetrates white very easily. Hold two identical two shirts up to your eyes, one white and one black -- you'll be able to see through the white shirt more easily, which means that the sun penetrates it more easily.

Interesting. I always thought darker colors absorbed heat more.

I don't know if I have the exact same shirts but I have a Russell UPF long sleeve & a few 32 degrees ones. Personally I like the 32 degrees ones way better. I have to wear long sleeve shirts even when it's 100+ degrees outside cuz I have lupus. Hanes Cool Dri are my favorite for hot weather and 32 degrees are my favorite for cold weather.

Depends on the pigment, usually white is just bleached. This is rated 30 upf so the white is treated as well.

I they're talking about harmful uv rays penetrating the material, not heat absorption.
