This is a slick deal. After losing my daily driver NF Recon that I've had for almost 20 years due to a car break-in on a trip, I tried to find another bag that would fit the bill. Bought a NF Surge thinking the extra space would be nice but it was a little too big for a daily driver. Ended up buying another Recon as I believe it's the perfect size for everyday use. Paid full price for it though. Got the blue one as an extra just in case. The price is too good to pass up.

was gonna get it but i think that white mesh part is gonna get really dirty

Thanks for the review (second best thing about SD). Does it have pockets for water bottle, if so could it fit a 20 or 24 oz one? Is there a laptop/pad slot? TIA

Technically Spirit is 18" max height and this is 19", but other dimensions are way under so should be ok. Honestly I'd get a bigger bag if you are flying with only a personal. This is probably 25L at most but a bag that using more of personal item space is in low 30s liter
if you are flying with this and a carryon you should be fine

Seems like a really good deal I needed a new bookbag for work Mine was looking Dingy 5 years old jansport still together but not enough padding for a laptop.
