I just bought this and discovered that it's getting delisted in September. It's cheaper than a Mocha Frappuccino so why not.

So does delisting mean that you just can't buy them anymore, or does it mean that if you bought them but didn't download before they got delisted that you're out of luck (and your money?)

It's in my PS4 backlog and I haven't installed it yet. IIRC, all the DLC is free now but available through the in-game store or something, right?

According to this article both single and multiplayer should still work fine. Multiplayer is always a risk though because most of these games still try to phone home....which may not answer after services sunset.

Grabbed it for my Playstation last week at $6 cause it has the added Spiderman. But else I would get this for $6 for Steam.

Gameplay can get repetitive at times and some of the quick time events are annoying - graphically it's a good looking game, and I finished the whole thing (not something I often do these days) because it does a pretty admirable job giving some depth to the characters. Humor is on point too. Arguably funnier than the movies at times.

I'm surprised that they are delisting the game altogether. I realize that keeping servers up costs money and they can't keep them up when the player base isn't there. But they can at the least keep the single player campaign in, while stripping out the multiplayer. Even if they list it at $20 regular (with the occasional sale like this one), I'm sure they would be people that'll still buy it to play the single-player campaign. Even right now, I'm assuming the people buying this deal are doing it to play the campaign sometime later. Surely paying steam to keep the game listed doesn't cost them much. So delisting it altogether seems weird. Maybe there are licensing costs complicating it?

Granted it didn't review too favorably, but I do remember the general consensus being the campaign wasn't bad. Just sad to see a recent game vanish from digital storefronts. Especially considering the number of developers that would've worked hard on a high-profile high-budget release as this.
