lol this is a paid ad for a moccamaster wannabe chinese ripoff.
This is not a "pour over coffee maker". It's a drip coffee machine. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but don't call it something it's not.
Can't find a single good review except for Bestbuy website. I'd like to know if it meets some of the SCA certification features. Mainly is water temp between 195-205, and does it brew a complete cycle between 4-8 mins. If it did I'd consider getting this.

I have this one. The quality of the brew is excellent. The carafe does not drip, and provides clean pours, unlike my previous coffee makers. The cycle is relatively fast, compared to drip makers. The only negative on consumer reports is that filling the water tank over 8 cups can result in overflow of the grounds. My only regret is that 8 cups is not always enough for the family. Also, after 2 hours the hot plate turns off and cannot be turned back on without adding a splash more water to the tank. I bought it for a convenient pour over quality, which it definitely has. Not too worried about longevity for the price.
Great reviews on this pour over coffee maker with an overall rating of 4.5 / 5 stars.
This is a one-day-only price (Deal of the Day).
I'm no coffee expert, but shouldn't a "pour over" coffee maker circle a small amount of water around the basket, then let it steep for a short time, then finish pouring in the water? From what I've seen this just has a constant drip from several holes like many other better drip machines.

I was wondering the same thing. Reviews online are lacking. Killer deal if it can replicate Moccamster for 1/10th of the price

I was thinking the same thing. This is simply false advertisement / marketing. It's a damn drip coffee machine not a pour over coffee machine.

What does the drip mechanism look like on it? Does it evenly saturate the grounds?

I mean… obviously but it's one of the best prices ever for this style of coffee maker and it has good reviews.
I'm the first to criticize crappy SD posts but this isn't one.
It's not a fake deal. It's on BestBuy's website.
