PSA: Please be careful with toys like these! Make sure your child knows not to put these in their mouth! I work in an ED and we get pediatric patients that have swallowed foreign objects. These magnets are one of the more common ones. Good deal tho!

PSA: Please be careful with toys like these! Make sure your child knows not to put these in their mouth! I work in an ED and we get pediatric patients that have swallowed foreign objects. These magnets are one of the more common ones. Good deal tho!

It says ages 5+. Is it mostly kids that shouldn't be using this product?

You'd be surprised how many negligent parents would give this kind of toy to their toddler, and just walk away. Some people should just not be allowed to procreate.

I got this for my kid. He hasn't had a lot of interest, but he's a bit young. Any advice on how to get a kid engaged with this toy?

I found that the best way was to do projects like this with them, which you might already be doing. And make up silly songs while you're doing it. I had a kid partly so I could sorta be a kid again.

Agree with Mijisu. I can not mention how many times I had to go in the middle of the night to remove these endoscopically. No matter what age group (infants to teenagers), all tend to accidentally swallow. Any ingestion with more than one magnet is an emergency and needs to be addressed right away.

If a parent here needs you to tell them this, by the time their kids are age 5+, they probably should not have kids and should consider adoption.
