You don't need this. Good price if you do need this. But you don't need this.
Keep in mind that an engineer's tape measure does not read in inches. It reads in tenths of a foot. Kinda a weird cross between US and metric.
Land Surveyor here...that's all we use. Much easier than using Fractions of an inch.

I want this, but for some reason the "1/10" scale is a deal breaker. Even though i know anything i would use it for would be +/- 1'. Inches are moot at this length.

But what even is 1/10 of a foot? Who uses that?

I don't have this specific product but an equivalent alternative. It's my go to for planning out my garden each year - easy to roll out an mark seed and transplant locations… easy clean up… it's great for that purpose.

I'm a civil engineer, and I call out dimensions like this on construction plans. It makes math easier when adding dimensions.

Surveyor's unite on SD!
If you're not a surveyor you don't need this tape. (To be fair some civil's would find it useful).

Not a true surveyor, but work at a county land and water management office. We use these all the time staking out projects and surveying fields. Tenths are much better than fractions lol

It's too short it'll take nine times to go lay out a quarter mile so you can smoke all the tires on your Hemi for 1320 ft. Good times good times
