Direct Tools Outlet is having a one-day only flash sale. It's for 50% off almost everything (excluding final sale items). Shipping is a flat-rate $14.99.

I don't believe I have ever seen DTO do a 50% sitewide sale on Factory Blemished (like new) products before. This would be one of their largest sitewide discounts ever for these tools with full manufacturer's warranty outside of single-limited item sales.

There is also 50% discount on Factory Reconditioned (refurbished) as well, which would be slightly discounted more than blemished and will only carry a 1-year warranty with Direct Tools Outlet directly.

Now's a good time to buy if you're looking for factory blemished items Smilie

Here's some of my suggestions and personal commentary:
(If you've seen some of my other DTO posts, some of these are repeats. But why should I rewrite things if what I wrote was valid and good back then and they still are now Smilie Anyhow the best information is usually in the comments from you guys.)

For those who just acquired their EZClean power cleaner from Home Depot's sale, here's a chance to pick up on those useful accessories: https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ry=ezclean

I am certainly a fan of universal attachment for string trimmer power heads. Ryobi's brand is called expand-it, which you can find here at: https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...=expand-it

An attachment capable string trimmer, this 18V brushless one includes a 4Ah battery and charger.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com.../P20110VNM $80

For a basic 10" trimmer/edger and blower set, nothing too fancy but would do the job, this is a great price for lightweight two tools and 2Ah battery kit (+35 FP)
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...t/P2036VNM $45

Pressure washers were pretty popular the last time this sale was going on. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...%20washers

One particular accessory for the pressure washer is the 5-in-1 nozzle. Can't find this anywhere else selling for less than $40, yet here it is on sale for just $5.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com.../310448028 $5

The RYOBI 40V VAC ATTACK Leaf Vacuum Kit is an interesting purchase as it includes a 40V 5Ah battery. If you value 40V 1Ah @ $20/Ah then that battery alone is worth $100 of the kit's value. You're essentially getting a charger and Leaf Vacuum tool for free.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...RY40451VNM $100

Along the same idea in which if you need a 40V 4Ah battery, which I would value at around $80, then you can get a whisper series brushless leaf blower tool for only an additional $5. 550 CFM, 125 MPH.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...RY40470VNM $85

The price per Ah for 40V batteries has never been lower. These beat the $20/Ah price point for 40V.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/OP4050A $85 -- 5Ah
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/OP4075A $110 -- 7.5Ah
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...t/OP4012A1 $180 -- 12Ah

An 18V 3000 lumen led spotlight by Ryobi for $25, not too shabby. (+62 FP)
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/PCL661B $25

I remember when the handheld vacuum for $12 was a front page deal. Here's the updated model that is compatible with 1-1/4 in. accessories instead of a proprietary connector for just 50 cents more.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/PCL705B $12.50

Not a bad price for their 18V ONE+ 6 gal wet/dry vacuum considering you'll be getting a 4Ah battery as well. Prior FP deal for $129.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/product/P770KN $65

This dual function inflator/deflator is very popular product here.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/product/P747 $30

The high-end Ryobi compact brushless tools, 6 tool set, quality set that I haven't seen lower pricing yet.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...t/PSBCK06K $210

This is an interesting new lawn product. A 18V One+ compact cultivator for only $50. Sells for $119 at Home Depot. Quite a discount.
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...2909BTLVNM $49.99

--------------------

I just about bought the Ryobi pressure washer and don't really even need one badly, but I thought I would look up reviews on it. Check the reviews on HomeDepot.com - several saying it leaks oil like crazy. [homedepot.com] Given, they did pay twice the price for it.

This one is a no brainer if you are looking for a pressure washer.
Lowest I have seen... Thought it was a deal at $240.. but $215 now? Wow.
Comes with a Surface Cleaner and this is a Honda engine.
Not a Triplex pump, but not going to find one in this price range.

Yes - this will clean brick and a driveway. Yes, it can damage property. Not a dumb question.

Make sure you use the right nozzle size for the job and keep the appropriate distance from what you're cleaning. A 0 degree nozzle works like a water cutter and will cut/etch most things including concrete. A 20 degree nozzle from 1-3 feet will blast most filth off a deck, concrete, or brick. At close range it can also cause damage. There's usually a wash nozzle for car washing so it doesn't blast off your paint. These nozzles are usually included with the product.

Be sure to use the right type of fuel (little or no ethanol) to operate, fuel stabilizer when not in use, and pump stabilizer/winterizer to keep the pump (not engine) itself from failing in storage (Sta-bil also sells this).

Look for a sale on a rotating turbo nozzle, deck/driveway cleaner unit (all metal connection point) later on. They will make your life a lot easier.

Edit: Looks like it comes with a switchable nozzle and decent deck cleaner. All good. You will want to pick up a rotating nozzle like the Ryobi Turbo Nozzle (~$20 when on sale). It's a respectable deal for a Honda powered pressure washer at that PSI and GPM.

Thanks for the fab writeup! I just checked it out, and it seems like, once again, a lot of items aren't showing as 50% off when you click on the sale link and scroll through listings. That said, once you head to your cart, you see the discount. Excited to pick up a few things this time around. (I hate the shipping cost, but 50% discount makes up for it - at least for me, who doesn't necessarily track prices of items the same way some of you all do Wink)

My hero! Woke up the baby today with my janky old gas pressure washer. Giving the electric Ryobi RY142300 a shot and also picked up the 5 in 1 nozzle.

Anyone have experience with the wet/dry vac. I'm reading reviews that say the battery lasts anywhere as low as 5 min to 20 min. 20 min doesn't sound to bad, but 5 min probably wouldn't cut it.

What size are you referring to? I have the 3-gallon one and found that with my smaller batteries, the suction really suffers at 2 bars but would still run. I imagine this only gets worse with the bigger vacuums - the 9ah really helps mine keep the power up and lasts at least past 15 minutes of continued usage.

Thanks for the response. I'm talking about the 6 gal. It comes with a 4aH battery for $65. Seems like a decent deal if the battery doesn't die out too quick, but if your 3 gallon only lasts 15 min with a 9aH, then I'm guessing the 4aH won't last long on a 6 gal.

I tried sending an email once and got a response a few days later after the order shipped.

I would call if that is an option.
