It's not just Samsonite that's like that with their deceptive "warranties". Most others are like that as well except for 1 or 2 really expensive companies that do include shipping to/from their warranty centers, but you'd be paying over $200 per piece.

I want to see the warranty against breakage not workmanship and defects.
I was really happy with eBags, that is until Samsonite purchased the company several years ago. Their stuff took a nosedive in quality and hasn't been the same since. E.g. they used to use ykk zippers, now they're just generic cheapo ones.
