Bought a pair from here and the lens started to shatter/break apart on the edges. Tried to do an RMA through Gunnar but was told Eyedictive is not an authorized reseller. So no RMA.
The pair I got was the esl blade very thin frame for wearing under headphones. Super uncomfortable without headphones on. But they did seem to help keep my eye's feeling better during long sessions and the magnification was helpful also.
The older Gunnar models were put together much better than all of their new ones, and much more durable, but the bulk of the older frames were also Aluminum-magnesium metal frames instead of the plastic ones they mostly sell now.
I use a Gunnar Anime Gunmetal frame for my prescription glasses and have had the frame for... almost 10 years, and the metal has a few scratches and the hidden hinge after all this time is a little looser but still use them daily.
I actually just bought a replacement set of the glasses like new from some guy on Ebay for $100 since they have become almost impossible to find. Will just pop out the blue filter lenses and put in my prescription lenses as the frame is the same.
I owned a pair I bought through woot years ago. They were used daily for work purposes, mostly coding. Held up pretty well for 2 years until they eventually broke. The magnification was very low but nice when reviewing numbers and looking troubleshooting code.
They are just blue light computer glasses, its an actual thing. These are just branded so they appeal to another audience outside of office workers, so they are branded for gamers.
I got a pair for $20 to see if they actually work for me.
or just turn the night light setting in your windows display settings to like 25% without the need for glasses. It just turns down the blue light on your screen.
