These are good for people with lower cars that just want to get the wheels off the ground. I can back my car into the sloped driveway and jack the front up. The saddle height on the frame rails lets the car sit basically level but I can still remove the wheels to do an oil change, brake job, timing belt etc .
I do have larger jack stands for other jobs. These short ones come in handy. If owned an SUV, I wouldn't want these.
If you happen to have an asphalt driveway, you want these type of legs with the wide flat base on the feet.

Please don't cheap out on jack stands. They're there to keep you safe and your car from crashing to the ground. You can get a 3 ton (or higher) with a safety pin for not too much more.

Yep I think these will be fine for Sedan and rule of thumb is not not just rely on one thing holding your car, I always keep the hydraulic lift as well as put the wheel as well so 3 points of failure

Mistake number 1: jacking up a car on a slope.
Mistake number 2: Getting under a car jacked up on a slope.
It's not a big slope. I always chock the wheels and I'm not climbing UNDER the car since the jack is only 10" high. That's just high enough to get the wheels Off the ground, so they can be removed from the car.
And then I slide the wheels under frame next to the stands as triple insurance. So even if the jack and jack stands both failed at once, the car wouldn't even drop an inch.

I like the wider platform on the 2ton. It would work better on my mini that has the traditional bmw plastic box for the jack point. Any other alternatives if these aren't good?
Edit: ordered a set anyways. Buy now think later lol can't be any worse than just having the car sit on a jack

Edit: just did a quick search and he reviewed the 3 ton and those have a safety pin.

This style of leg here on these Harbor Freight jacks will just sink into the soft asphalt. https://www.harborfreig
