They're obviously not super high quality, but I have zero complaints for the price. Wheels are good, zippers don't feel very heavy duty but I've been nice to them and had no problems. Liners are light polyester that will separate and fray if you pull on the stitching too much.
I think the only actual problem so far has been that one of the plastic 'feet' broke off somewhere between Seattle baggage handling and Cancun baggage handling, exposing a pokey end of one of the screws that comes from the inside. Removed the screw, haven't thought about it since until now.
Zero problems whatsoever with the hard shell, which is the part I was most worried about.
I would buy again.

I bought a set of Rockland hardside cases a couple years ago at roughly this price - I thought it was from Groupon but I'm not sure. I specifically wanted inexpensive hardside luggage for some of the international travel we tend to do where there is a higher likelihood of damage/loss.

Same question- esp in comparison to the recent Samsonite listings

Abs is inferior materials…
I know ABS is the cheap stuff, what about polypropylene? Anywhere close to polycarbonate that is used in quality luggage?
they likely have a huge amount of nice luggage for good prices. i got a great set of "kenneth cole reaction" bags (they are made by heritage travelware under the kenneth cole brand) from a tj maxx and they have held up really nicely. went back and forth to europe multiple times with them and they are good as new

Any personal pros and cons to the materials?
