Picked this up yesterday but found that initially, during horizontal oscillation, it was squeaking from the base during a very small portion of its travel. Eventually the squeak stopped, but I can still hear some subtle noise during oscillation (sounds like the top part briefly catches on the bottom part through most of the lateral travel) if the fan is on the lower speed settings and there's no other noise in the area. Might be noticeable when used while sleeping. Not sure if that'll be a functional problem long term, gonna keep an eye/ear on it. Of note, however, the manual indicates that "during oscillation, motor sounds will increase" and that "this is normal" so perhaps it's all good. The highest fan speed setting is pretty loud and strong enough that it can knock over a very top heavy Funko while also moving my hair from a few feet away. The remote is IR, so it's usable but not capable of providing an input to the fan while it's rotated away from you. My favorite thing is the natural breeze setting which changes the strength of the airflow from around the first speed up to the second speed every 10 to 20 seconds. The blade appears to be about 5.5" wide, and the whole thing is about 7.5" x 11.5" tall. I really like it for 30 bucks, but I'm also turning into a very biased Costco Stan as our area finally has one.

Just bought this a few days ago, it has 5 speeds, after 3 it gets a bit louder, I used painters tape on the LED lights to help darken the room. It be a great fan for under 30.00 price, but the online price is 44.99

The remote has a button to turn off the LEDS. You can even long press the button on the actual fan to turn off the LEDS.
