Existing 2TB subscriber here - nothing for us sadly. Similar to the promotion they did last year for the free Google Nest Hub when subscribing to the 2TB plan.

I'm on the lower Google One plan and it's like $20/yr? So going to a $100/yr plan and all you get is a Chromecast seems kinda meh. I still have the OG Chromecast Ultra and it's mostly working, but annoying now when you ask a Google Home for a YouTube Video, it will say "which one would you like" but no longer shows the actual options so you have to ask blindly.

Not really a deal unless you were already planning on upgrading the plan. The value of the Chromecast hardware is meh (definitely wouldn't call it a $50 value).

Unless you need the extra cloud storage, just buy one of the $20 Onn streaming boxes and save the other $50. I find myself using it more than my CCwGTV these days anyway.

Nice example of what a crappy company Google is at this point is the gap between 200gb-2tb in their cloud storage options/plans. This has me exploring other options at this point.

I have three of these CCwGTV devices and they desperately need a newer version. They can be slow and glitchy. At least they finally helped on app size reduction, but onboard storage is minimal.

Hopefully an updated 4K version is on the way.
