I have one of their fridges. Cools down quickly, pretty efficient when using on eco mode on a power station. Great tailgating equipment or obviously for camping. Fridge has replaced using my cooler. Just better. No ice mess, etc. Easy to plug into the 120v socket at home to cool down before loading in the car, works fine on the DC 12v cig lighter adapter as well, or just use an inverter in your car. Should get 6hrs runtime on a 300w power station with this fridge!

I have smaller variant of this BougeRV 12v fridge. It's the one that can also accept their battery pack. I've been using it for camping while being plugged into my own battery station. It seems to be pretty efficient as I've used it for about 12 hours plugged into my 600w power station and it used less than 30% of the battery. So if you're going to be camping for a few days, make sure you're power station will have enough juice to keep it running. It also comes with a 12V and AC adapter if you are able to plug it in. There's a lot of similarities with these lower priced 12v fridge options, but the 2 year warranty on the compressor was important to me, as that's the most likely thing to ever fail.

I've had this for a week after paying $210. Very pleased, especially with the Eco mode. My advice is that it needs to be full or thereabouts while set to lower temperatures like 0 degrees. It struggles a lot more to reach and maintain temperature when mostly empty. Vertical full seems more important than width. I've been topping with several small freeze packs.

I picked up one of these last week and have been very impressed with it. It's very quiet, cools down quickly, and seems to use a small amount of energy. I think the 30qt is right in the sweet spot as far as size and capacity. The storage area appears small at first until you start putting things in it, then you realize how much you can fit without the need for ice.

I will say though that registering for the warranty has been a real PITA. The cooler is supposed to come with a 2 year warranty, extendable to 3 years if you join some BougeRV Facebook group or something. For whatever reason, the warranty registration portion of the website does not work and only gives me error messages. I ended up having to e-mail support and after several e-mails back and forth, they finally said they would register the warranty for me.

Aside from that, I've been testing the unit for the last 4-5 days to see how long it will last on a few of my power stations. So far, it looks like it consumes around 8-10Wh per hour on Eco mode once everything has been brought down to temp. This is being measured on a volt/watt meter inline between the power station and the cooler to remove the loss associated with the DC-DC conversion on the power station. Temperature on the display tends to match very closely with an external thermometer.

Cooling retention seems to be very good also. During my last test, the cooler lost power around 1AM and was still holding at 52 degrees at 8AM. This is of course without opening the lid, but it's good to know that your food will remain relatively cool even if you run out of power.
