It's like an American saying that the $7 insulin in Australia must be fake because insulin in the US costs $99.
Have you considered the fact that Americans are overpaying for skincare just like they are for healthcare?
COSRX is a legitimate brand that has a good reputation. This particular product has been around for a long time. Why are you jumping to the conclusion that they must be lying about their ingredients just because you think it should cost more? wtf?
Guess what? A tube of high strength retinol cream is $8 in other countries. In the US, not only do you need a prescription to get it, it will cost 10x more. Can't afford a dermatologist? You can go to Macy's and spend $150 on a weak retinol cream in a tiny ass jar that barely does anything.

that being said the item does have good reviews and I will say that it may very well be moisturizing but snail exertions at 92% yea I don't think so
It's a Korean company and they do actually source it ethically.
There's a reason why Korean products had been so hot in the west for anyone who knows and why western markets are trying to copy it, and with an extra price tag.
I've used this and it's amazing. It's cheaper if you buy it in Korea but you have to keep in mind importation costs, fda etc so it's worth trying it on sale .
That being said, some people are allergic to this and can give them a reaction so I would recommend buying it at ulta and going from there.
Also, with Amazon you have to make sure the seller is COSRX officially. Amazon sells so much bootleg products it's crazy.

The moisturizer I prefer to this though is Cerave. btw I'm 30+ so that's what works for me.
I get compliments on my skin

Get the other cosrx one that's the more popular one that works for most people anyways and is the one that all the ig dermatologist influencers rave about anyways. This one does seem to be a 2-in-1. They're both way below the normal prices on korean ship to US websites so I'm getting both.
I actually just got the other one yesterday idk how i feel about it yet

is this merely a moisturizer and not a anti wrinkle cream?

As others have pointed out, this is by CosRX, probably the premier brand that popularized widespread use of snail products globally. It is even sold in Ulta here in the states. There really should be little doubt of the accuracy of the label.
Furthermore, a google search has not shown any results for the "study" that you mention concerning "loopholes".
All that said, I still might hesitate to buy this from amazon due to a potential counterfeit product.. But I've gone through a few jars of this shipped from Asia or from Ulta and I love it. The texture takes some getting used to but it is very hydrating.
