To people who can't spend the 8k. I normally pay my property taxes they charge 2% fee but this card gives back 1% so you pay 1% on 8k spent. Ie pay 80 dollars to get 1k bonus.
Also you can make estimated payments on your federal tax I believe it's 1.87% fee then reduce your withholdings to pay less to account for estimated payment. Otherwise get it back next year as refund etc..
Ever sell something on ebay? At a garage sale? Look, you have a business!

Ever have an IDEA for a business but haven't done anything with it yet? Look, you have a business!

Apply as a sole proprietorship, the business name is the same as your name, the EIN is your SSN.

You can do considerably better than 3 cents a point with most business and first class airline transfers (a booking to Japan earlier this year in business was about 7.4 cents a point for me for example though this is toward the high end)

Also I'd double check your "normally" results- 3 cents is high for typical Hyatt use, 2-2.5 is more typical.

Mind you- Hyatt is still worth doing compared to the portal or PYB or taking it as cash-- and even usually beats coach airfare values--- but typically is inferior to biz/first plane tickets via transfers.

How much are you spending that you're earning 3 million UR every year?
Unless you have a slick deal on a time machine, that's not a useful data point.

This is actually a much LOWER spend that it has been for most of the last couple years- normally it's been 15k for this card.

Does anyone know if Chase ink cash/unlimted or this preferred can be churned, I have both the No Fee Ink Cash/Unlimited from last year and was hoping to cancel this month after paying off (love the 0% for 12 months both of these came with)....any data points would be appreciated.
Yes, they all can be.

Any actual new payment where they get a swipe fee counts- they don't care WHAT you're paying for. Things like balance transfers do not however.

Taxes included. Note at least federally you'll pay a ~2% fee to use a credit card, but obviously for signup bonuses that's still pretty profitable.

Someone referring you gets a bunch of points for doing so-- if you're in the same household you can combine points anyway so it's an easy win-win.

If you're not in the same household sometimes folks will offer to pay you some amount of $ if you use their referral link because they value the points they'd get more than the amount they're offering you (but obviously this requires some degree of trust in at least one direction for this to work out)
Doesn't Chase offer the same 20k points to everyone?

For referral?

Sure... but if you're in the same household you can easily combine them, so it's effectively like getting the 20k points yourself.

If you have to rely on someone outside your household then you have to trust they'll actually give you something for the 20k points THEY (not you) will be gaining- since there's no way to get those points in YOUR account like with a household member.

Sorry didnt ask my question right. If everyone is getting the same 20k points, how is an external pary able to offer a number higher than say $200?

It's 40k points for referral not 20k.

Oh sorry yeah I didn't check the current referral offer on this specific card- I was just speaking to the in/outside household issue.

Sounds like you got your answer on that part... though THAT said, I could conceivably see where someone might offer more than $200 for 20k points...

Folks who use UR for business and first class flights are typically getting 4-8 cents per point in value-- so 20k points to them would be "worth" $800-$1600 bucks.

Even folks who only use them for Hyatt typically see 2-2.5 cents a point in value for them so 20k is "worth" $400-500 to them.

This is a great offer/card at the moment. Less spend and UR points that can be transferred to Aeroplan or other airline JetBlue or hotels. $95 is nothing concerning if P1 refers P2 for $400 extra referral credit
The $95 fee drops it to around $900 SUB net with an additional 2K spend needed compared to the Business Unlimited and the Business Cash both with no yearly fee and only $6k spend in 3 months. I'm not finding any additional benefits of this card over the others barring a lot of traveling.

You're right on that but the non-preferred INK cards (cash/unlimited) don't show up or are considered Ultimate rewards and can't be used up for 25% for travel. Plus you can combine the points from Ink cash/unltd to this preferred and now those other points can be worth more transferring it to Aeroplan partner (right now 20% bonus) and same with Jet Blue.

I got approved for $7k credit limit though I have excellent scores. When I called for an increase, I got denied after a soft pull. Any experience how to increase credit limit? TIA

Chase shares your limit across all cards- personal and business... if you've reach their total limit your options are:

report higher income (ideally honestly)
or
move credit from a different chase card to this one if possible (and you need it)

Wait What! LOL For real? I was told you could only hold one card product of chase at a time! Unless I'm mixing it with some other bank.
