To people who can't spend the 8k. I normally pay my property taxes they charge 2% fee but this card gives back 1% so you pay 1% on 8k spent. Ie pay 80 dollars to get 1k bonus.
Also you can make estimated payments on your federal tax I believe it's 1.87% fee then reduce your withholdings to pay less to account for estimated payment. Otherwise get it back next year as refund etc..
Ever sell something on ebay? At a garage sale? Look, you have a business!

Ever have an IDEA for a business but haven't done anything with it yet? Look, you have a business!

Apply as a sole proprietorship, the business name is the same as your name, the EIN is your SSN.

You can do considerably better than 3 cents a point with most business and first class airline transfers (a booking to Japan earlier this year in business was about 7.4 cents a point for me for example though this is toward the high end)

Also I'd double check your "normally" results- 3 cents is high for typical Hyatt use, 2-2.5 is more typical.

Mind you- Hyatt is still worth doing compared to the portal or PYB or taking it as cash-- and even usually beats coach airfare values--- but typically is inferior to biz/first plane tickets via transfers.

How much are you spending that you're earning 3 million UR every year?
Unless you have a slick deal on a time machine, that's not a useful data point.

This is actually a much LOWER spend that it has been for most of the last couple years- normally it's been 15k for this card.

Awesome, thanks!

I transferred all my UR points to her to take advantage of the 1.25 conversion rate on this card for travel.

You get more value transferring to airlines vs booking airline travel in portal

Thanks. That's my plan after I consolidate all the points to the Ink Preferred card and do some reading about the process.

If I already have a card in my own name as business name, can I refer it to my other business which is LLC?

If you have other Chase business CC, you can easily transfer credit limit between cards without credit check. You just need to call them. I can't speak for if you don't have other business CC.

Did you receive any email from chase regarding the application? I also got the same "in review" message. But still haven't received any email from chase about the application.

This happened to me once and to my wife twice. They won't email, most likely. In our cases, they called to verify the phone number once, the address another time and some other trivial thing that I can't remember at the moment. If you need the card for an upcoming expense to meet the spending requirement, I'd give them a call instead. The only email we received was "welcome to Chase Ink Business" after the phones calls when the approval went through.

Yes, you will have a personal credit hard pull. However, the card itself does not show on your personal credit report.

Good idea. You actually made it $1280 in total. Anyone who's applying can dm me and ask. 👍

Here's what I'm thinking about doing

I have a $9000 tax bill to the IRS for 2023. I want to get this card, put $8000 on it, get the bonus, and pay the remaining $1000 via ACH.

Will that work?

I'm a sole proprietor business owner
