I love the portability and the bright screen, Asus did a really good job on this laptop.
It's not perfect though, the wifi card on it is weak, I swapped it with a $20 AX210 from Amazon but opening laptops is not everyone, and there's some minor ghosting in the screen that some people find distracting... I personally think the screen is beautiful and the ghosting is acceptable for a VA panel, you can always look for reviews on YouTube and decide, there's a LOT of reviews.
I posted (almost spammed lol) in the previous thread, documenting my journey with this thing, clarifying how dGPU passthrough with VRR is indeed functional external displays, in case anyone is worried about that.
"The first thing you need to realize is that this isn't just your usual/generic gaming laptop.
This is a convertible, thin and light at that, with gaming capabilities AS WELL. Hence, you can't compare it to any other gaming laptop because all of them are your usual clamshell form factor, which would outpace it in strict gaming performances, and the ASUS Flow series is the only of its kind. If you need a gaming-touchscreen-lightweight-convertible laptop, that is, a little bit of everything, then this should be a no-brainer."

People aren't buying this to have the optimum specs. It's the only package of it's kind..period. 13.4" screen + 3050ti + touch screen + flag ship processor + less than 3 pounds. You're missing the point of why this exists.
Wait, so Why does it exist? Genuine question, as I can't tell if it's a good or bad thing based on your statement.
I'll give you an example, the 14" Zephyrus G14 with a 3060 is a better portable gaming laptop, if you are gaming in laptop mode exclusively... BUT, it doesn't have a touch display...
You can get even larger laptops, with probably better pricing and better specs... That's not the target audience of the X13, and it might be a niche audience at the of the day, but that's the beauty of having multiple options and being on Slickdeals, you are bound something you like at the right price for you.
Edit: newer G14s have webcam it seems.

Hence I said if you want the GPU it's a solid deal. I would like one, but if I had to pick I'd take a similar 13-14" laptop without the GPU and a nicer screen and faster processor. Thats preference. A lot of people are just looking for a good laptop deal. I'm comparing my options, pros and cons of each. Not everyone going on here looking for specifically a gaming laptop or a workstation laptop. They're looking for a good deal and weigh the pros and cons of each laptop. If you want to play PC games on a laptop this is a great option, if the smaller screen doesn't bother you.
I'd be all up on this but I'm looking for Thunderbolt to connect to an EGPU. I'm not a fan of the XG Mobile dock that this uses if you want more GPU power. The Z13 is an option but I haven't seen it come remotely close in price.

Oh! I didn't realize this was the same laptop from the other week, without FLoW in the title lol appreciate the help, again! 😅
Anyways, I found that the power saving in Windows, and making sure all apps are set to power saving GPU (search Graphics Settings in start menu), worked pretty well in keeping it cool. It does heat up when gaming though, I have to deploy it in tarp mode or put a spacer in the back to let the air intakes breath a little more.
