Been wearing polos almost exclusively since WFH started and buying whatever was cheap on SD (Banana Republic / Factory, J Crew, Under Armour), but gave in to social media pressure and tried these about a year ago, and it's all I buy now for basics... very soft, comfortable, wash well, etc.
I tried True Classic (another niche brand) at the same time, but much prefer these (they're a bit longer and less boxy looking).

The 25% works on sale items too, so certain colors will be a bit less than what I referenced in the title.
For what it's worth, I've tried a few of the $5ish ones from 32 Degrees that are so popular on here, but hated them. Wore each one twice and donated them.
I can only comment on the quality of the tees and polos, but ordered a two of the zip up hoodies (having spine surgery in a few weeks and apparently won't be able to wear pullovers for a while) and some socks in this sale...
