Add drill… add free gift… make sure both items are for pickup but different locations. After purchase, contact home depot via text and cancel the free gift.

Worked for me with home delivery. Ordered, the combo, sent text message to support, asked them to cancel just the batteries, just got a free shipping confirmation on the drill only for $100ish.
Thank you for the heads up!

ETA: received a shipping notice for the drill. Also received an email stating the money for the charger and batteries is being credited back so it worked!

Just got the Hercules 1/2 inch drill from harbor freight and it's supposed to be in the same class as this Milwaukee for anyone interested. Was ~$100 and came with battery and charger.

Also, I wonder if mods can see who is the bot that downvotes any and all talk of the HD hack. It's silly to see it on every post.

What do you mean by "same class"? When was that last time HF have any battery operated tools that were in the same class as Milwaukee tools? Ever...

Furthermore, if you're buying the Hercules for $100, why not buy the Flex deal that came with 2 battery (5&2.5ah) and charger for $100 a week ago from Acme Tools? And if you used the promo code, it drops to $90. I got in on that deal and now waiting...
