As 10mm is a heavily used metric size, having deep, impact, 6-point, 12-point, universal joint, 1/4 3/8 1/2" drive makes a lot of sense. Particularly when you are doing automotive repair, you either have the exact right socket or you're out of luck. It would cost you A LOT more to assemble this from individual sockets. There aren't many sizes where this set would make sense but this is one of them.
