As you're basically showing, none of that matters. The price is manipulated by the govt and big banking like most anything else is. Sad but true. I used to have a lot of money in physical gold. The only real pattern is how strange the patterns are. The smartest thing is def to diversify and have as little as possible invested in anything that can be manipulated. So the only real sure shot is property / land, and even that can be manipulated some, but I think it's the least corruptible.

So many agencies, so many predictions:

In its gold price projection on 24 April ABN-Amro Group estimated the precious metal to average at $1,900/oz in 2023 and rise to $1,950 by the end of 2024.

ANZ Research projected gold to be trading at around $2,100 by the close of 2023, accelerating to $2,200 by September 2024.

The World Bank's long-term gold price forecast as of April 2023 expected gold prices to finish 2023 at $1,900, falling to $1,750 by the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, algorithm-based price forecasting service WalletInvestor was bullish in their gold rate prediction for the next 5 years as of 16 May. The website saw the metal rising to $2,289 by May 2028. WalletInvestor's projected gold price to trade at $2,090 in one year's time.

Lol real estate with all the GSEs (FMMA, FHMLC, GNMA) involved is the most gov manipulated asset there is. Take out the 30 year gov backed loan and the whole thing collapses.

Bitcoin is old news, we've moved on to pumping AI. No idea what it does or how it works but it's definitely a new paradigm.

28.3495 grams, say 28.35 = $67.01/gram

This is nothing special.
Market gold per oz is $1900-$1950

So you are all suddenly deciding to invest in gold because of 4% possible cash back?

Yeah, I finally saved up for down payment and enough of a cushion right when Covid started. Entered the market right at the wrong time, thanks to Covid lockdowns, PPP loans, and Covid stimulus checks. The true value of the dollar is about half of what it was in 2020 if you plan to buy a home.

Typically you pay a premium above spot for physical gold. This is below spot and with added cash back.

All of that work for just over 5% when most bank interest rates are near 5%... so basically about $10 profit with about 4k spend...

At least wait till Gold goes over 2K again to make this 'maybe' worthy of being called a slick deal...
minus the 2 cents that this post cost you Wave

Agreed, this is a deal. All sites typically take $100+ more online as compared from gold price.org I usually order from Jm bullion and pay premium price while paying from my bank account. There was no tax from these sites as well to my state.
There was saving of flat $150 + any cash back for each of these bar.
