Where can we buy a "decent" acoustic bass for $60 ?
Link would be great, Google is giving me nothing.
Well there's a brand new acoustic (and) bass on eBay (and) it's acoustic electric for $86 (and) that's free shipped, from an inexpensive brand of good review there, Sparky.
Have you considered shopping around and waiting for discounts, etc? You know; the slick dealing hunt. If you found just 30% off as your total combined discounts then it would be about $60. And there's some deal on guitars usually monthly. It's a bit like fishing.
SD does not post eBay deals because it's multi seller; but I bought a strat type from Yallstore and I love it. I did a full setup+ to perfection with a new TUSQ nut. You may not need to do anything. You may have to polish some stuff and read up on TRAIN. I think is easy; but you can also pay more. AND sometimes for around $80 you can get a guitar that buyers are saying need no further complete-setup at all.
Fender is NOT known for putting a lot of detail into their least over priced guitars. Including some things you can't readily fix. Read some reviews.

Oh, you are talking about a **Glarry** bass.
Those can require a bit of work to bring up to "good" status.
I'm a luthier, and here is the work I did in our shop to bring one of their basses up to stage ready.
Well thread switched to Electric basses; which is fine; but I was asked about Acoustic exclusively first. Which has different necessary requirements IMHO. I answered with the first deal I found on eBay yesterday and pointing out that's without waiting for better deals. If you need it right now. Yes, it's a Glarry and I almost typed that people will down Glarry; but the thread you posted talks about an Exquisite brand bass for $56 too And they seem to like the Glarry, a lot. Even with a sub group formed.
I'm not sure saying they need a lot is accurate. Yes it is always POSSIBLE you may receive an un-fix-able guitar; but that occasionally happens at any price range. If you have a solid return policy then anything you don't like can be refunded. As always; you would not buy from any odd website; but proven ones only. There's always risk; but should be almost none or do not buy it.
Everyone should know fret sprout happens on freshly made, not aged, guitars and strings need stretching in. And climates may require a slight tweak to the neck truss rod. The lowest priced guitars can sometimes benefit from a $10 TUSQ nut, already cut for you. But if the price is more than $10 less then you'd be better off. And that doesn't mean a poor nut can't be fixed easily; it's just faster to plop on a TUSQ type nut made for your neck. All you have to do is be very gentle on your neck slot, using a razor blade to cut excessive amounts of glue on the old one.
Just watch a pro do it first. And if you are the non technical, non DIY type that's fine; then you need a technical friend.

Why does Fender call their non-USA electric guitars Squire by Fender; but not their acoustics?
When will prices fall? You can get a decent guitar for $60 to $70. Some already setup and with more optional choices.
That's a nice look though.
Prime stinks. Amazon should be ashamed for getting busted making it hard to cancel.
America doesn't make anything. Sometimes we assemble all of the parts which are fabricated elsewhere so that we can market as made in America.
