I'm not familiar with the Nextorage brand. I found its a subsidiary of Sony that's owned by Phison. Most the reviews look positive.
They are very good and basically Sony's storage division. Sony developed the storage for PS5 and invested a lot of resorces for it and after that they've created this subsidiry for selling aftermarket SSDs based on their developed storage tech. It was formed literally with Sony's engineers from Storage division.

Thanks for the info!
For me, at this price point, I think it is better to stick to name brand like samsung or WD.
I mean, if we are not getting much of a discount for trying less tested brand, why risk the data?

That been said, thank OP for finding the deal.
I don't think you'll get similarly performing 4TB SSD from the brands you're referring. And Sony is pretty reliable company.
I am not saying Sony is bad, but it is not the same level as WD or samsung in terms of brand recognition in SSD. Also, WD or samsung are far better tried and tested by the users due to its signigicantly higher market share.

It was a joint venture with Phison, so interns of experience, it's probably only right after those guys. But yes, hard to go with this drive over the SN850X at almost the same price.

Lol maybe not samsung anymore... They're having all sorts of issues with their firmware that results in bricking peoples ssds.
